About the role
Legal Operations brings together a multi-disciplinary approach combining knowledge and skills across the legal, regulatory, data, technology and delivery management domains. We deliver successful business outcomes on a range of different types of work at varying scales including; managing large data-led contract remediation engagements, providing legal support on individual contract negotiations and running client outreach and query management helpdesks.
The team is made up of paralegals and legal professionals working for a wide range of clients from sectors such as Luxury brands, Banks, Manufacturing and more.
This opportunity is in our rapidly growing operational delivery team as a Litigation Support Senior Associate. You will be responsible for your own workstreams, whether it be managing aspects of a legal claim or performing document review as part of an e-disclosure exercise.
What your days will look like
The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but may include:
Provide high-quality support for the Litigation Support practice group within the Operate Line of Service, engaging in delivery tasks across various client matters
Case analysis - ability to analyse content of legal claims and assess litigious aspects quickly
Draft and review legal documents and correspondence for delivery to counsel in relation to court, arbitration or regulatory proceedings and disclosure
Support the creation of electronic bundles on behalf of legal teams for courtroom proceedings
This role is for you if you have
Must possess degree in Law (or international equivalent) (candidates with an interest in qualifying via SQE welcome)
Previous experience in-house or in a legal or professional services environment
Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
Experience with case management and discussion with Counsel
Confident interacting with people of different professional backgrounds
Highly professional and organised individual with good time management skills
Ability to follow briefs and directions from stakeholders
Proficiency in Power BI and Powerpoint and knowledge of Document Review platforms (i.e Relativity, Reveal)
