About the role
Legal Operations brings together a multi-disciplinary approach combining knowledge and skills across the legal, regulatory, data, technology and delivery management domains. We deliver successful business outcomes on a range of different types of work at varying scales including; managing large data-led contract remediation engagements, providing legal support on individual contract negotiations and running client outreach and query management helpdesks.
This opportunity is in our rapidly growing operational delivery team as an Associate. The team is made up of paralegals and legal professionals working for a wide range of clients from sectors such as Luxury brands, Banks, Manufacturing and more.
We are looking for legal-focused professionals who have experience in a legal and/or corporate environment as well as graduates who want to start their career in professional services.
What your days will look like
The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but may include:
Providing support on various legal projects, including risk, regulation and commercial projects
Reviewing & reporting on contracts and associated information as part of corporate due diligence exercises & conducting legal and commercial market research
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial & banking contracts and checking legal documentation for quality, consistency and content
Case and documentation review - analysing legal and other documents to identify key facts, anomalies, etc, for categorisation
This role is for you if you have
Must possess degree in a legal subject (or international equivalent)
Self-starter and motivated to succeed
Ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude for learning new systems and IT applications
Highly organised and meticulous
Previous legal services work experience within a legal and/or paralegal role would advantageous
