JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:  

This role reports to the managing editor, and assists in overseeing the production of publications for PwC’s Global Thought Leadership team, maintaining schedules and ensuring quality. They will work with internal PwC staff and external vendors (designers, agencies and developers) to publish reports, articles, digital bundles, infographics and more—on time and with high editorial and visual effectiveness. The job requires strong management, people, project management, and prioritisation skills.

What your days will look like:

  • Managing the day-to-day production of content for PwC’s Global Thought Leadership team — working with editors, designers, web producers, and agencies to optimise text, data visualisations, and web templates for high editorial and visual effectiveness;

  • Establishing and maintaining schedules and project milestones for multiple concurrent projects while ensuring the quality of the firm’s thought leadership, which includes major reports, articles, blog posts, digital bundles, infographics, podcasts, and newsletters;

  • Building/managing relationships with colleagues and experts across the PwC network, acting as a partner in executing content, and confidently conducting difficult conversations to jointly reach productive outcomes;

  • Collaborating effectively within the Global Thought Leadership team and across the entire GMO while demonstrating flexibility when priorities change.

This role is for you if:

  • You have demonstrated mastery of both verbal and visual material; shrewd judgment; and people, project management, and prioritisation skills.

  • You have demonstrated mastery of copyediting and proofreading, and command of English grammar.

  • You have a strong proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms; Microsoft Word; Excel; workflow management systems, such as Wrike or Asana; and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro; and familiarity with content management systems

  • Are able to balance competing priorities championed by diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Have a proven track record of producing and editing content on a large scale.
