JOB DESCRIPTION

Digital Audit

We are a specialist team within Audit, collaborating with external audit teams to combine process, controls, and technology expertise for integrated audits in a digitised world.

There are two Sides to Digital Audit:

Auditing Digital: Ensure our clients' technology, including infrastructure, Cloud, and applications, is secure and controlled. Understand end-to-end processes and optimise business applications.

Digital Auditing (Advanced Analytics): Use the latest tools to digitise audit delivery through automation, AI, data analytics, and innovation. Utilize PwC-developed tools and industry-leading software for client audits. Our culture drives our success and yours, providing a sustainable advantage. We aim to create an empowering environment that supports our clients, teams, and personal work-life balance. It’s about working smarter and being agile to deliver exceptional client service.

Programme

Our summer internships offer students invaluable insight into PwC's business and culture. You'll have the opportunity to experience work and life at PwC, and collaborate with experienced professionals on real client projects. The opportunities to learn and grow are unrivalled - so be prepared to get stuck in.

What you'll do

You'll gain extensive technology and audit skills through structured training. You'll work with various clients and industries, both on-site and virtually. You'll interact with financial controllers, heads of IT, and finance directors to ensure IT systems are well-managed and data is accurate. This investigative role involves regular client interactions and taking responsibility within diverse teams. The work is client-focused, often requiring travel and meeting deadlines, including longer hours. It's challenging but rewarding.

What you'll gain

Join us to learn about our business, build networks, and work with specialists in your chosen area. Receive on-the-job training to prepare for client projects, gaining insights into our work and its impact on clients, the economy, and the community. Our internships provide a pathway to launch your career, with the potential to join our Graduate Programmes based on performance. Graduate offers will be in the same office and business area where you completed your internship.

What you'll need

You must be in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or in your final year with a confirmed one-year postgraduate place. You must have or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree in any subject, based on your most recent academic grades.

When to apply

Once you have submitted your application you'll have seven days to complete the online test, this is the first stage of our recruitment process. Applications for this role may close early should we receive a high volume of interest so we recommend prompt application to avoid disappointment.

To be eligible to be made an offer for a graduate role post this internship you must hold your own right to work in the UK which you will need to maintain for the duration of your employment.
