About the role
Are you ready to make a tangible impact in one of the most dynamic and critical industries? Join our rapidly expanding team within PwC's Consulting practice, where we specialise in delivering transformative solutions for the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sector. PwC has a strong reputation and relationships to be able to win and deliver, with opportunities to build a recurring revenue stream. We are looking for a Director to be at the forefront of the sector's critical programmes, helping to build capability, drive pipeline maturity and win new work, helping overcome some of the leading defence challenges facing the sector.
What your days will look like:
Working with the Defence team and independently to originate and horizon scan for new opportunities
Mature opportunities to an appropriate level so they can be qualified in or out. Build a qualified pipeline.
Develop and execute win strategies and lead solution teams to secure positions within winning consortiums, and win new business.
Use existing PwC relationships and build new relationships across the defence ecosystem to find partners, understand competitors and originate new opportunities
Work closely with PwC’s managed services group to build competitive multi year solutions
Build a sales mindset and capability within the Defence sector accounts
Ensure PwC is on the right frameworks and well positioned within those frameworks to deliver and grow revenues
This role is for you if:
You have a track record of building winning consortiums and solutions which have won high value multi-year contracts
Significant experience and deep understand of government procurement process
Strong track record at building teams from across multiple stakeholder groups
Proven experience of working alongside Partner and Director colleagues, and building diverse, high performing teams, creating cultures of learning, collaboration and creativity
Demonstrable senior level network within the client and ecosystem
Recognised as a person with the knowledge and empathy to drive C-Suite sales conversations and build trust with existing and potential clients.
