JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role:

Join our Digital Audit team, a unique blend of technology, data, business, and accounting expertise. We revolutionize audits with automation, AI, and data analytics, enhancing how we serve clients across industries. Our focus is twofold: Digital Auditing, where we digitize audit processes, and Auditing Digital, where we ensure our clients' technology infrastructure, Cloud, and applications are secure and well-controlled.

As a team member, you'll engage with diverse clients and technologies, gaining business skills and relationships that transcend traditional accounting. We invest heavily in audit technology and training to stay ahead of industry changes, delivering deeper, broader, and forward-looking trust.

Our Innovation & Data (I&D) team within UK Audit drives innovation using advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning. We develop data-driven audit approaches, uncover crucial insights, and build scalable automated solutions, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of audit data.

What your days will look like:

  • Manage engagements and design automation strategies.

  • Lead teams developing audit solutions with Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, PowerApps, and Process Intelligence.

  • Data management, including data extraction and data cleansing processes;

  • Advanced analytics, where we use data science techniques to help our clients navigate future risks and opportunities through predictive and prescriptive analytics.

This role is for you if:

  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, including communication with senior stakeholders of a non-data background (being able to communicate technical issues in simple business terms) and excellent reporting writing skills;

  • Solid experience in managing projects, including developing project plans, budgets and deliverables schedules

  • Utilise data analytic technologies like Alteryx, SQL (preferably SQL Server), Python, R, and machine learning techniques for data manipulation.

  • Possess audit experience with a focus on applying data analytics within the external audit process, and utilize technology in data & analytics for providing managed services.

What you’ll receive from us:

 No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.

We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
