About the role

As a Senior Associate in the Commodity Management Technology Team, you’ll be a key player in supporting our clients' digital transformation journeys. If you have a deep understanding of ETRM/CTRM systems or related technology solutions within gas, power, oil, or soft commodities trading environments, we’d love to hear from you!

What your days will look like:

You will be delivering state-of-the-art technology transformation solutions in the commodities market, with a focus on optimizing trading operations, enhancing risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Dive into business processes, systems, and data requirements associated with commodities trading to analyze and document them.

  • Help implement and fine-tune ETRM/CTRM systems to boost operational efficiency and accuracy.

  • Team up with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of project milestones.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and offer insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Craft and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Python, Power BI, and other automation and analytics tools.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they get the most out of their systems and tools.

  • Stay on top of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and strategic advantage.

This role is for you if:

  • You have a solid understanding of the commodities trading business model and deal lifecycle, including typical CTRM/ETRM systems and data requirements.
  • You have proven business analysis and project management experience in trading technology, ideally within gas, power, oil, or commodities sectors. Capital markets or other trading experience will be considered.
  • You have strong client and delivery management experience, with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • You have exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have strong knowledge of reporting and analytics technology such as PowerBI, Alteryx and SQL.
  • You have experience with technology development tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
