Deals Insights & Analytics within Value Creation & Realisation offers a full range of advisory services to our clients across Operational Restructuring, Strategy Consulting and Capital Project Services. These range from corporates and private equity houses, to major government departments.

What your day will look like:
Your main area of focus will be Financial Modelling, which is used by our clients to support almost every critical business decision.
As part of this team you will help design and deliver innovative analysis and insights. For example:
Improving clarity and transparency for investors, finance providers and business owners by leading a team who will build succinct, KPI-driven forecasts that incorporate key operational, commercial and financing sensitivities
Adding credibility to the business growth story with insightful analysis of historic performance translated into a robust articulation of cash and profit dynamics to strengthen the price negotiations
Improving cash and liquidity management
Providing independent model review services to increase investor confidence

This role is for you if:
You are technically-minded, and driven by solving complex problems, and you get a kick out of explaining how you do it.
You’ll be working with some excellent analytical brains, but also varying stakeholders for our clients, and for this reason you will know how to explain the technical details to non-technical people to provide clear insights and advice.
Understand commercial drivers of a business and able to succinctly articulate this to stakeholders
Able to articulate complex financial or technical concepts to non-finance staff
Proficient in MS excel and able to lead a team to deliver a driver based model aligned to commercial drivers of the business
Experience of building and reviewing financial models
Capability and a keen interest in coaching and mentoring others in financial modelling
ACA qualified (or an international equivalent)
A professional services/consulting background is preferable but not essential
