About the role:
Our specialist Working Capital team is part of our broader Operational Restructuring team within Value Creation and Realisation. We work closely with our clients to develop sustainable solutions to free up cash from our client’s balance sheets. Our skills and knowledge are applied and gradually transferred to improve working capital management, leaving clients with sustainable performance improvement.
As a Senior Manager within the Working Capital team you will work with a variety of clients across industries and geographies. You will lead operational working capital improvement engagements and be responsible for client management and project delivery.
What your days will look like:
You will focus mainly on working capital improvement areas matching your previous experience and expertise, including
Reviewing the operational and financial performance of the Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable), Forecast to Fulfill (Inventory) and Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable) cycles
Evaluating key business processes, systems and commercial dynamics driving working capital performance
Conducting financial analysis of opportunities for working capital reduction and translating this into practical recommendations with a defined business case
Supporting the development of new business through building and delivering commercial proposals, pitches and thought leadership, plus coaching and developing others
The role is for you if you have:
Strong consulting experience in working capital advisory, finance or operational performance improvement and transformation disciplines
Good end-to-end understanding of flows of data and how different functions cooperate internally and externally
Sound financial analysis and data literacy (including data preparation, aggregation, visualisation and interpretation)
Strong Excel skills essential and developing knowledge of more advanced solutions welcomed (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Celonis, SQL, Python, DataBricks etc.)
Strong commercial awareness and business analysis skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate others
