About the role

Our market-leading Indirect Tax team provides advisory, operational, and compliance services to PwC’s biggest clients, specialising in VAT, customs, excise, stamp taxes, and environmental taxes. We offer innovative solutions for local and global challenges. You'll build tax technical skills and develop operational consulting and technology expertise, helping clients navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.

What your days will look like:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams, including the UK and global PwC network.

  • Collaborate with Indirect Tax and other PwC teams to win new clients, provide innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality advice aligned with clients' commercial needs.

  • Manage and develop team members, work in multidisciplinary Indirect Tax teams, and stay updated on indirect tax legislation.

  • Support and utilise cutting-edge technology to solve client problems, and work with senior leaders who invest in your development and provide business mentorship.

This role is for you if:

  • Excellent VAT technical and analytical skills, strong project management, and ability to prioritise tasks.

  • Good communication skills, both written and oral, with a commitment to delivering excellent client service and team working.

  • Ability to manage and support junior staff, apply good judgement, and manage risks.

  • Resilience, flexibility, and strong self-organisational skills, with an interest in technology and innovation.
